LEICESTER, Oct 2: Leicester failed to reproduce its Champions League form in drawing 0-0 at home to Southampton in another disappointing result in its title defense Sunday.

The champions have won just two of their opening seven league games, having won both of their matches so far in the club's first-ever Champions League campaign — the latest coming against Porto on Tuesday.

Southampton created the better chances at King Power stadium, with in-form striker Charlie Austin hitting the post early on and wasting a one-on-one chance in the second half.

Robert Huth headed against the post in the 75th minute with Leicester's best opportunity.
