KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The municipal police of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have deployed bulldozers to demolish a squatter settlement in Manohara.
Following the demolition, clashes broke out between the squatters and municipal police personnel. Locals reportedly pelted bricks and stones at the municipal police, prompting officers to carry out baton charges and disperse the crowd.
