KATHMANDU, April 6: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava conveyed a message of congratulations from India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to Khanal on his appointment as Nepal’s foreign minister.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two also discussed various aspects of Nepal–India relations and cooperation during the meeting.
Following the formation of the new government, Ambassador Srivastava had earlier paid a courtesy call on Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle last Thursday.
