According to the Dadeldhura office of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DoHM), the district had witnessed the heaviest rainfall of 505.5 mm rainfall in mid August-September of 1979.
However, with four more days to go, the district has already received a record high rainfall of 506.7 mm in the month of Bhadra.
"In this year´s rainy season, Dhadeldhura received the heaviest rainfall," said Raju Mishra, Dadeldhura chief of DoHM.
