Govt. to establish environment department

KATHMANDU, July 3: The Ministry of Environment is planning to establish the Department of Environment to make the environment related programs more effective.



Speaking at a function regarding environment and climate change organized by the Ministry in the Capital on Sunday, secretary Krishna Gyawali said the Ministry will establish the department at the earliest. [break]



He added that it will be easier to conduct the environment related researches and activities more effectively once the department was established
