KATHMANDU, May 15 : The government has appointed five members to the board of directors of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) through a ministerial decision.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, a total of 27 applications were received for the posts. Following evaluation of academic qualifications, professional experience, business plans, presentations and interviews, five candidates were selected.

The appointed members include Dr. Deepak Prasad Bastola of Pokhara, Pravin Bhattarai of Bharatpur, Maheshwor Bhakta Shrestha of Lalitpur, Rupa Lamichhane of Gokarneshwar and Lilaraj Dhakal of Syangja.
The ministry has issued a notice instructing them to collect their appointment letters within seven days by visiting the ministry.
