KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The government has appointed Dim Prakash Poudel aka Prakash as General Manager of the state-owned Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
A cabinet meeting held on Monday took a decision to this effect, according to cabinet sources. A chartered account by profession, Poudel is an activist of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). He was already member of the NAC’s Board of Directors.

Poudel served as a member of the Publicity Department of the erstwhile CPN-UML when Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai was chief of the department.
