Former IGP Rana passes away

Former Inspector General of Police Pradip Shumsher Rana died at the age of 78 on Saturday night. His family will perform the last rites at 11 AM today at Pashupati Aryaghat.

KATHMANDU, April 13: Former Inspector General of Police Pradip Shumsher Rana died at the age of 78 on Saturday night. His family will perform the last rites at 11 AM today at Pashupati Aryaghat.

Rana, who led Nepal Police from October 2000 to December 2002, oversaw the establishment of the Armed Police Force during his tenure.
