Fleeing inmates nabbed

LAMJUNG, Jan 22: Police have arrested two inmates while they were trying to flee after breaking the jail on Thursday night.

Ajit Kumar BK, serving a jail term for being involved in human trafficking, and Rajan Pariyar, in murder case, were arrested while they were trying to flee after breaking the prison's wall.BK of Ilampokhari-4 of Lamjung has been in jail for the last two and a half years, while Pariyar of Bunkot of Gorkha district is serving his jail term for the last three months.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sambhu Prasad Dhakal, the duo was arrested while making a hole in the wall of a bathroom by using an iron rod. Jailer Kajiman Sunwar informed that the prison administration has written a letter to the department of prison requesting it for the transfer of the inmates.
