Electricity generation works start

PANITYANKI (Morang), March 3: Preliminary works of generating energy from two rivulets of Morang have started with the complaints growing on the wrong practice of merely registering the rivulets.



Works to generate electricity from Khadam rivulet located in the meeting point of Chisang, Patigaun and Singhadevi VDC of northern Morang have started.



According to District Development Committee, Morang, Environment Branch, there is a plan to generate 250 MW from Chisang rivulet and 1,000 MW from Khadam rivulet.
