Eight hurt in Baitadi road mishap

BAITADI, July 31: Eight persons were injured in a road accident at Malikakhan of Patan-6 in Baitadi district along Dasharath Highway Saturday night.



Ram Kali Bohara, 50, of Surama VDC and her sons Ram Chandra Bohara, Surendra Bohara and Khimu Bohara, Puran Bohara of Kuwakot of Baitadi district, Prem Bohara of Dahakot and Dambar Singh Mahara of Siddheshwor-7 and Gagan Singh Mahara of Siddheshwor-4 of Bajura district were injured in the incident. According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, the incident took place when a jeep (Se 1 Ja 320) heading towards Bajhang from Baitadi fell 50 meters down from the road.



All injured people are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Team Hospital and they are out of danger, according to the Area Police Post, Patan.



Police have arrested the driver Man Singh Mahara.
