KATHMANDU, June 4: The weather is likely to remain generally cloudy over the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country, while partly cloudy conditions are likely in Tarai today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
There is a possibility of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country and at one or two places in the Tarai regions of Lumbini Province and Sudurpashchim Province, the Department stated in a weather bulletin released this morning.
Rain, coupled with storms, likely in some places today
Hot day conditions are likely in Madhesh Province and the Tarai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today.
Later tonight, generally cloudy conditions are likely over Koshi Province, Madhesh Province and the Himalayan region of the country. Partly cloudy conditions are likely over the hilly region, while mainly fair weather is likely over the remaining Tarai regions.
There is a possibility of light rainfall at one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, the weather service shared.
