KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Chinese Ambassador for Nepal Wu Chuntai has expressed happiness over the recent political development of Nepal for gaining momentum toward political stability.
One day after the adoption of the new constitution, envoy Chuntai met UML Chairman KP Oli at the latter's residence in Balkot and expressed hope that Nepal would soon achieve political stability with the constitution building.

Envoy Chuntai also congratulated Chairman Oli for being able to endorse the Constitution of Nepal, 2015 through the Constituent Assembly, said Oli's personal secretary Ramesh Acharya, adding, "Chinese envoy expressed happiness to see Nepal move toward political stability."Similarly, US Deputy Chief of Mission John L. Carwile for Nepal also met Oli at the UML Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar and congratulated him for successfully endorsing the Constitution of Nepal 2015.
On the occasion, diplomat Carwile also expressed concerns about the latest political development of Nepal, Oli's aide Acharya told Republica.
Meanwhile, UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal and Central Committee Member Rajan Bhattarai have intensified diplomatic meetings.
