KATHMANDU, March 26: A chartered plane of Buddha air is flying to Pokhara to rescue 47 French nationals, sources said.

A day after the government took a decision to rescue and send the tourists back to their home country, the chartered plane is being sent today to pick those stranded tourists due to lockdown enforced to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Similarly, Tara Air's Twin Otter has flown to Lukla from TIA to rescue 14 French tourists stranded at Lukla airport due to COVID-19 lockdown.
