Visitors were slowly trickling in to the hall in the early afternoon. Booklovers were seen browsing books at the different book stalls set up by the 55 national exhibitors such as United Books, FinePrint, Educational Book House, Kathalaya, etc, and 20 international exhibitors like Oxford University Press and Penguin Random House.
There are a plethora of books for every kind of reader. From children's books and classics like Wuthering Heights to the popular John Green novels and books by Osho, the book fair has it all. There are also plenty of Nepali books, popular titles by Chetan Bhagat, and works of Japanese writers to choose from.
The book fair lasts till August 29 and promises to be a haven for booklovers who should make the most of the discounts and sales offered at the fair. The discounts are lavish (20% to 80%) and secondhand books are on sale for as low as Rs 100. Authors will be present for book signings, too.
There is also a space at the book fair for young book lovers who would enjoy sitting down and reading their latest buys.
