BDS condemns arrest

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: The Blue Diamond Society has condemned the arrest of Constituent Member Sunil Babu Pant and others from the southern gate of Singha Durbar at around 1 PM on Tuesday.



A group of 70, led by Pant had reached Singha Durbar to meet Prime Minister Madhav Nepal at around 10 am demanding implementation of Supreme Court verdict passed on December 27, 2007. They were detained at police stations in Kamal Pokhari and Dill Bazaar.



The group was released at around 5 pm.
