In the semifinals of the U-12 girls´ singles, Mayanka Rana survived a scare to beat Ira Rawat in three sets. Rana went down 4-6 in a closely contested first set but bounced back to win the remaining sets 6-0, 6-3.
She will next face Anne Mathema, who defeated her sister Mahika 6-4, 6-3 in the other semifinal.
Meanwhile, Bibhuti Karki secured a berth in the final of the U-16 girls´ singles defeating Bijisha Shrestha 6-4, 6-3. She will meet Aslesha Lissanevitch in the final. Lissanevitch had an easy route to the final as she received a walkover from Manjita Nyochhan.
In the U-10 girls´ singles, Abhilasha Bista defeated Saloni Tamang 8-1, Nima Roka beat Saisa Joshi 8-2, Utsavi Joshi saw off Alsa Regmi 8-1 and Riyasha Baidhya ousted Aria Prasain 8-1 to secure their respective semifinal berths.
In the U-9 girls´ singles, Abhilasha Bista set up the final showdown against Aria Prasain. In the boy´s section of the same age group, Aadit Subedi and Piyush Singh won their respective semifinal matches to advance into the final.
Meanwhile, Ivanhoe Lissanevitch, Chandrama Roka, Samrakshyak Bhushan Bajracharya, Aavash Malla, Abhaya Gauchan, Pranav Khanal, Sakchham Karki and Pranav Kayastha won their respective matches to secure quarterfinal berths.
