An exuberant Drolma said, “Although I have toured the world over, I have never had the opportunity to perform in India.”
The concert was finalized after she received an invitation to perform from the organizers. [break]
“I haven’t yet decided on the number of songs I will perform at the festival. I just want to share my music with the audience.”
Drolma, the founder of Arya Tara School for nuns has a huge fan following in Nepal, Europe and the United States.
“I was recently asked by a music company in India to bring out an album, so I believe I have an audience in India too,” she said.
Her performance, entitled “Tara Goddess of Compassion”, will include ancient Tibetan songs and hyms. She will be leaving for New Delhi on Sunday.
