Senior citizens end agitation after rise in allowance

KATHMANDU, June 8: A group of senior citizens which had been agitating for eight years at New Baneshwar area, putting forth various demands including the rise in the old age allowance, have wishfully terminated the strike, following the rise in allowance during the recent budget speech.
