Deuba, Dahal agree not to table MCC in parliament today

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: The US-aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact agreement will not be presented in today's House of Representatives meeting.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the party will leave the ruling alliance and the government if the MCC compact agreement is tabled at parliament for ratification.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has decided to continue obstructing the parliament session. The UML has also stated that it will boycott the meeting of the House of Representatives Business Advisory Committee.
