“Januka called me up and informed that a team of around 200 will be visiting my house for deusi celebration in last Tihar, which I agreed. She demanded a six-digit donation while other members of the team insisted on seven-digit. I made it clear that I won´t be able to pay such a hefty sum and turned them away,” Sthapit added, “This incident prompted differences with me.”
He also claimed that Januka demanded Rs 2 million in return to three-month extension of his tenure after he filed a writ petition at Supreme Court against his removal on Sunday.
