Writer to provide financial support to kidney Patient

KATHMANDU, July 8: Manik Ratna Shakya, writer of ´Afnai Jhyainkuti´ is to donate the amount collected from the sale of the book selling to kidney victims.

Shakya has so far collected Rs. 30,000 from selling the book on humour satire. It was released by hunour satire artist duo Madan Krishna and Haribansha on August 2 last year. [break]



Writer Shakya told RSS that he is consulting with friends either to give the amount to an institute related to kidney disease treatment or to any kidney patient.

The third edition of the book was published in June, 2013.



The book published by Ratna Pustak Bhandar has covers 29 different social issues including on family, neighbourhood and office.

Shakya is associated with different magazines including Jhyainkuti and Sisnupani Nepal as well as with different organizations.
