Workers halt traffic in Itahari-Biratnagar corridor

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Agitating workers in the country’s largest industrial area, Sunsari-Morang industrial corridor, have stopped vehicular movement from early morning Saturday. The traffic in Itahari-Biratnagar route was disrupted, according to Avenues TV. The workers in six jute mills in the area are in agitation for a few days demanding minimum wage fixed by the government.
