In the match played at the covered hall of the Dasharath Stadium, VS Niketan took all the quarters 12-4, 11-8, 13-8, 18-4 to register its second consecutive victory in the tournament. Nischal Tandukar was the highest scorer with 14 points.[break]
In the second match of the day, Prime College thrashed New Summit School 85-21. Allen KC scored 24 points for the winning team as it took all four quarters 24-8, 24-7, 19-4, 18-2.
Baylor Academy from Kavre defeated Balkumari College from Chitwan 44-32. Baylor won the first two quarters 17-10, 13-10 to take a 10-point lead. Balkumari took the third quarter 6-7 but it was not enough for victory as Baylor won the last quarter 8-5. Sagar Thapa scored 27 points for Baylor.
In the last match of the day, Myagdi defeated Morang 26-18. Morang had taken a four-point lead after winning the first quarter 11-7, but lost the remaining three quarters 9-4, 6-0, 5-3. Bikash Gurung of Myagdi was the highest scorer with 14 points.
In the women´s category, Prime defeated Xavier International 34-22 with 13 points from Sujata Lama. Xavier won the first quarter 5-4 to take a one-point lead but Prime came back into the game and leveled the scores at 17-17 with a 13-12 win in the second set. After half time, Prime scored 11-3 and 6-2 to seal victory.
Meanwhile, NIMS bounced back from three sets down to beat Kaski 44-32 in another match of the women´s category. Bina Nakarmi scored 21 points for the winning team. NIMS had lost the first three quarters 7-9, 9-10 10-11 but made a remarkable recovery in the fourth quarter to register a 18-2 win.
