KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Galaxy School and Gyan Niketan School have registered victories in the ongoing 11th CoAS Inter-school T20 Cricket Tournament on Tuesday. In the matches played at the Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya (SAMV)’s cricket ground, Galaxy defeated Babylon School by three wickets, while Gyan Niketan beat Vidhya Sanskar School by 40 runs. In the first match, Babylon, who won the toss and was made to bat first, gave a target of 111 runs in 19.1 overs at the loss of all wickets. In reply, Galaxy chased the target in 16.1 overs at the loss of seven wickets. In the second match played on the same day, Vidhya Sanskar, who got a big target of 140 runs, was all out at 99. Gyan Niketan had batted first after winning the toss, making 139 runs in the allotted 20 overs at the loss of seven wickets.
