With VG bagging the dealership of Suzuki two-wheelers, two companies will now be selling Suzuki two-wheelers in the Nepali market.
Amar Rajkarnikar, managing director of Ganesh Enterprises, said his company will continue selling Suzuki two-wheelers in Nepal though Suzuki India has also appointed VG Automobiles for the purpose. [break]
"I have taken the appointment of VG positively as this will trigger competition, which will benefit customers," said Rajkarnikar, adding, the company will now aggressively promote the brand.
Rajkarkinar further said that VG Automobiles will, however, be dealing with Suzuki two-wheelers manufactured in India, while Ganesh Enterprises will be dealing with Suzuki two-wheelers manufactured in India, China, Japan, Thailand and Spain.
Ganesh Enterprises has outlets in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Biratnagar.
Vishal Group confirmed the appointment and said VG Automobiles, a new company under the Group, will soon be selling Suzuki two-wheelers in the Nepali market.
"We are currently developing infrastructure and hiring staff for the new company," Sarik Bogati, head of marketing at Pooja International, a subsidiary of Vishal Group, said, adding, VG will start selling Suzuki two-wheelers in the Nepali market before Dashain festival.
Vishal Group is involved in manufacturing of iron and steel, international trade and insurance business. It is also the authorized distributor of Volkswagen vehicles for Nepal.
