UTL launches pre-paid on fixed line

KATHMANDU, Mar 10: United Telecom Limited (UTL) started providing pre-paid service in its wireless fixed phones from Tuesday.



With the launch of the new service, the company also announced that it would provide new subscribers talk value worth the amount required to get the connection free of cost.



As per the new scheme, new subscribers of UTL can avail free call worth Rs 3,650 for purchasing connection at the same amount.



“United Telecom has been providing the cheapest phone service in the country and offers customers to make calls to India at just Rs 3 per minute,” the company said in a statement.
