The mutilated body of Sah, 30, was found by police at Lalparsa of Nitanpur on Sunday. Sah, who was also the chairman of ANIWA unit of Polymer Industries Pvt Ltd, had left home Saturday evening immediately after speaking to an unidentified person over phone, according to his father Shankar. [break]
Sah had a dispute with the factory management on May 22. The police suspected use of a sharp weapon in the murder and said further details would emerge only after an autopsy.
Meanwhile, a central member of the CPN-UML affiliated All Nepal National Free Students´ Union (ANNFSU) Umesh Gupta has been brutally attacked in Birgunj Sunday morning. A group of around 30 persons attacked Gupta at around 11 in the morning near Brahma Chowk when he was headed to the market from his residence at Birgunj-18.
In his statement to the police, Gupta has identified the assailants as fellow UML cadres Manoj Chaudhary, Navaraj Sharma, Arun Yadav, Santosh Paswan, Shankar Mahato, Nizamuddin and others. Gupta is close to Chairman Jhalanath Khanal while the accused are close to Madhav Kumar Nepal.
The two groups had scuffled during a meeting Friday held in Birgunj-13 to form a district committee of the party´s youth wing.
