KATHMANDU, March 29: The health condition of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is normal, said Dr Gopal Sedhain, spokesperson of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. He said that Oli, who is admitted and receiving treatment at the hospital, is in good health.
"His health was checked today. The tests showed that everything is normal. Although his heart rate was found to have increased when admitted in the morning, it is fine now. The kidneys are also in good condition,” Dr. Sedhain said on Saturday.
The UML chair was admitted to the TU Teaching Hospital for treatment on Saturday after being arrested by the police.

The police stated that the UML Chair and former Prime Minister Oli was arrested in connection with implementing the recommendation given by the commission headed by former Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki to investigate the Gen Z movement that took place on September 8 and 9, 2025.
