KATHMANDU, Oct 7:The health condition of CPN-UML poll candidate in Bara district Mohammad Alam, who is receiving treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), is further deteriorating.
Alam, the candidate of the CPN-UML from Bara Constituency No. 4, was shot at by an unidentified gang on Friday in Bara district.[break]
A team of doctors led by Bhagwan Koirala is treating Alam. Alam has been kept in ventilator and his health condition is further deteriorating, UML leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha said quoting doctors.
Shrestha said that taking Alam abroad for further treatment was not possible due to some technical reasons.
