KATHMANDU, Nov 7: The agitating United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) has said it will obstruct proceedings at Legislature-Parliament on Sunday.
Meeting of parliament has been called for tomorrow.
UDMF rejects new amendment bill
A leader said the front decided to return to parliament to intensify protest from House and street. The leader said the obstruction will be intended to pile pressure for amending the constitution.
At a meeting of the Legislature-Parliament to take place on Sunday, the UDMF has planned to present its agendas and picket the rostrum to mount pressure on the government to address the demands, according to Sadbhawana Party Co Chair Laxmanlal Karna.
Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Tarai Madhes Sadbhavana Party and Sadbhawana Party are in the UDMF. It has been boycotting the parliamentary activities since the promulgation of the constitution.
However, it had participated in the prime ministerial election. RSS
