The accident occurred when the truck (Ra 1 Kha 422) traveling west collided with the motorcycle (Lu 4 Pa 8782) at Pipara at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Motorist Bhaktiram Bhusal, 38, of Sitapur-4, Arghakhanchi and pillion rider Lekhnath Ghimire, 39, of Thada-2, Arghakhanchi, died while undergoing treatment in Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal.
Inspector Lilaraj Lamichhane of Area Police Office in Gorusinghe said that police have taken the truck driver into custody and impouded the vehicle.
