KATHMANDU, March 16: Tribhuvan University (TU) has decided to give another opportunity to students who failed to submit their theses despite completing their coursework and passing examinations.
A meeting of the Standing Committee of the university’s Academic Council approved the decision, allowing students enrolled in both annual and semester-based programs who registered before 2020 to submit their pending theses.

According to the Office of the Academic Council, eligible students can submit their theses to the concerned dean’s offices by mid-July 2026.
The TU believes the move will help students who were forced to leave their studies incomplete due to various circumstances complete their academic requirements.
