PARASI, Oct 4: Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party senior leader Hridayesh Tripathi on Sunday demanded the government to implement the agreements reached earlier with the Madhes-centric parties.

Speaking to journalists at Nawalparasi, Tripathi accused the government of not being serious towards the ongoing agitation in Terai/Madhes and added that the three major parties were starting a game for formation of a new government. The TMLP leader also noted that the Indian support for the continuing agitation became a matter of criticism for some and admiration for others. He added that all Indian support had been for a change.

Tripathi accused Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and UCPN (Maoist) of attempting to tear apart the earlier agreements reached with Madhes-based parties.

Responding to the journalists' queries on the possible solution to the agitation, Tripathi said the agitating side had not put forth new demands, but were insisting on implementing agreements reached in line with the Interim Constitution. RSS
