Its a long time issue of transparency and accountability of INGOs taking place.Recently,the works we have seen perfomed by the INGOs during the devastating earthquake create a space of question about their accountability.Not only financially but also somehow the works to which level of expectation people had in them seemed incomplete.For instance,WFP sent a set of expired food materials as a relief materials in many places.These are just an example which creates a question about the set of trust on them.On the other hand,we cannot exclude the reforms brought by INGOs for which they should be credited openly.In the context of creating more transperability and putting their budget transaction under NRB ,I think this will padlock the monoplosim of INGOs to a greater extent.If this can be brought under government,the non uniformity in financial transaction gets stop and more result oriented INGOs may likely come.Putting the budget transcation under NRB prevents their financial misflow but doesnot ensure that their works will be completely brought upto targeted level.An integrated action is a must to the local level to look their works so that both financially and socially accountability and transparency can be maintained.
