Traffic obstructed in Jhapa

BHADRAPUR, Oct 24: Relatives of a man who died after falling off the roof of a bus he was traveling blocked vehicular movement by keeping his dead body on the road in Surunga, Jhapa on Sunday.



Poshan Gurung, resident of Surunga-4, Jhapa, died after falling off the roof of a moving bus three days ago while he was returning home from Kathmandu. [break]



The Mechi Bus Operators Association has agreed to pay compensation to the bereaved family, but the latter have also been demanding expenses for his final rites.



They blocked the east-west highway from Sunday afternoon, according to head constable Jagadish Singh Rajbanshi.
