Three minors drown in Bagmati, Dhobikhola

KATHMANDU: Three minors died in Kathmandu on Saturday after drowning in the swollen Dhobikhola and Bagmati River. According to Spokesperson at Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu Chakra Bahadur Singh, Prasanna Thapa, 12-died while trying to swim in the swollen Bagmati River near Guheshwori area. Likewise, two other minors Nabin BK, 5, and Lok Bahadur BK, 3, died after drowning in Dhobikhola near Gangahiti area. “The two minors had been rescued and taken to the hospital. But they breathed their last at the hospital,” said Singh.
