RASUWA, Feb 10: Three children in Rasuwa, including two from the same family, lost their lives after getting engulfed in a house fire on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Asmita Moktan, 6, Rifola Moktan and their neighbor Mangali Maya Moktan, 3, of Naukunda Rural Municipality, Sisneri. In the absence of their parents, the children had lit a poster which later blazed the whole house, according to District Police Office (DPO), Rasuwa.
The massive fire turned the whole house to ashes destroying. As informed by DSP Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri, the dead bodies of the children have been sent to Trishuli Hospital for postmortem.
