Teams leave for villages with draft constitution

KATHMANDU, July 12: The Constituent Assembly Secretariat staffs have left for villages with the preliminary draft of the new constitution to seek people's feedback.

The staffs left for all 240 constituencies across 75 districts with the draft constitution and gazette to participate in the extensive interaction and meetings aimed at collecting people's feedbacks scheduled for July 20 and 21.


A total of 41 teams tasked with collecting suggestions from the people left the capital city on Saturday alone, while more teams will leave on Sunday for mountainous regions, CA Secretariat Joint Spokesperson Sudarshan Kuinkel told the National News Agency (RSS).
