Teachers training on international education system

Volunteers Campaign Nepal (VCN) organized a three-day teachers training program at Southwestern State College (SWSC), Basundhara, Kathmandu from July 30 to August 1. In the training participated by more than 70 teachers from different schools, a 10-member team from UK, led by Green Wood, coached the teachers on the international education system.



The head of the training team, while exchanging views with the participating teachers, expressed his happiness at the progress of education system in Nepal. He said, “I’m hopeful that this progress won’t come to a halt.” Speaking at the closing ceremony of the training, principal of SWSC said, “Teaching is a challenging job, and there can be no better way to overcome this challenge than constantly updating oneself, and learning and sharing teaching techniques with fellow teachers.”

Established in 2005, VCN has been actively working in the sector of women, children, youths, education, employment and health.
