Police said his body was found with his legs tied to the neck. Police said persons who boarded the taxi as passengers could have murdered him after looting his personal belongings like purse and mobile phones. Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi, had received an information about the attack on him last night, but he was already killed and attackers fled the scene when the police reached the site, according to SP Pushpa Ranjit.
