Tata's new pick-up launched

KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has launched new Tata Xenon pick-up in the Nepali market.

A press statement issued by Sipradi Trading, said the new vehicle boasts of modern technology, new body structure, strength and attractiveness.[break]

Sipradi has claimed that the pick-up is fuel efficient. "It can be used in various businesses," the statement added.

FNCCI meets Qatari envoy


KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Qatar Ahmed Jasheen Allahamar has said he would initiate the process for enhancing bilateral economic relations between Nepal and Qatar at the diplomatic level.

He made such a remark during a meeting with office-bearers and executive members of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, FNCCI President Suraj Vaidya urged the ambassador to bring investment from Qatar in sectors like tourism, hydropower and infrastructure development. During the meeting, FNCCI executives also underlined the need to bring more Qatari tourists to Nepal.
