Table tennis team leaves for China

KATHMANDU, April 24: A seven-member table tennis team left for China to participate in the World Table Tennis Championship, scheduled to kick off from April 26-May 3 in Sujau on Friday.

Six players--Deep Saun, Amarlal Malla and Purushottam Bajracharya in men and Nabita Shrestha, Alina Maharjan and Rabina Maharjan in women--will represent Nepal in five different categories in China.


They will be participating in men's and women's singles, doubles and mix doubles. Nepal Table Tennis Association vice-president Dharmaman Maharjan is leading the team.
