KATHMANDU, April 11: The New Year’s Eve at Sunrise Café of Hotel Yak and Yeti is all set to offer a true Nepali feeling as chief executive chef Krishna Kaji Basnet brings exquisite Nepali cuisines from his menu to make this New Year’s Eve, a food extravaganza. [break]



With the waiters and the guest attendants attending invitees in ‘daura-suruwal’ and ‘gunyo-cholo’, the fiesta showcases varieties of Nepali cuisines such as pork chops charcuterie, chicken sekuwa, khasiko ledo bedo, chamsur-palungoko saag, aloo tamako jhol and bhuteko bhat.







Other delicacies include sukkha roti, paratha, chyau ra mutter tarkari and grilled king fish with lemon butter. To make dining more interesting, the celebration will also feature popular foods like chatamari and momo in its ‘live station’.



For light meals, there are assorted salads, cold cuts, fresh fruits, jeriss and juicy lal-mohan. The celebrations will also feature live music performances by The Splash till the morning hours.
