Sujendra to compete in New York Chess

KATHMANDU, July 12: FIDE Master Sujendra Prasad Shrestha left for the USA on Sunday to compete in the Eighth New York Open Chess Championship to be held in New York from July 15 to 24.

Nepal Chess Association President bade farewell to Sujendra ahead of his departure on Sunday. This is the second time that a Nepali chess player is competing in the event. Earlier, FIDE Master Bilam Lal Shrestha had represented Nepal in the sixth edition.
