Sudheer guides Srijananagar to win

KATHMANDU, April 1: Srijananagar Cricket Club defeated New Vision Cricket Club by 55 runs on Wednesday in the First Kathmandu Cricket League being held at Tundikhel, Kathmandu. Opener Sudheer Chaudhary scored an unbeaten century for Srijananagar as it scored 234/2 in the allotted 40 over.



Sudheer scored 110 off 115 that included 11 boundaries.

He shared 196 runs partnership with Purushottam Jha (63) for the second wicket. Montey Nayab remained not out for 17 runs. In the run chase, New Vision could manage only 179 run for the loss of nine wickets.


Tail-ender Bibhut Karki contributed highest 37 run for New Vision followed by an unbeaten 23 run from Ram Chaudhary. Kritish Uprety claimed four wickets of New Vision and Basanta Shah picked three.


The winner of the next match to be played between Srijananagar and Baluwatar Cricket Club will determine the semifinalist from the group.
