DANG, July 7: Students of Mehandra Multiple Campus (MMC) torched campus chief´s chair and other furniture in his room on Tuesday.

The students, who have been staging various programmes of protest demanding campus chief´s resignation, have unlocked campus chief´s room and set fire to his chair, three tables and some cushions on the day when students pay respect to their teachers.

The students have been staging various protest programmes since last three months blaming Campus chief Dr. Radha Shah being incapable to improve the campus´ physical and educational condition.

The students have also padlocked the exam controller section and staff room. Classes have disrupted due to strike.

Though efforts were made to end the problem through dialogue time and again, they turned in vain earlier.
