KATHMANDU, April 8: Officials at the Rastriya Naachghar has been staging a protest halting their works in order to exert pressure for fulfillment of their demands. The demands were raised since the last 10 months.

The officials at the Naachghar blamed the Recruitment Committee of failing to forward the process of their permanent recruitment since 2063 BS though it has 27 vacant quotas. It has also failed to make the SAARC Summit expenses public, they have charged.

"We have sought the resignation of the General Manager Shalikram Timilsina as he failed to address our demands," said Bipin Ghimire, one of the agitating officials.

"We have also drawn due attention of the Ministry concerned but were forced to organize protest halting the works as the Ministry did not take necessary initiatives," he added.

Meanwhile, General Manager of Naachghar Timilsina said the Corporation is positive towards the demands of its staffs and is committed to address them. RSS
