Squad announced for AFC U-14 Girls' C'ship

KATHMANDU, April 8: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Friday announced an 18-member Nepali U-14 national team for the AFC U-14 Regional Girl's Football Championship (South and Central Region) slated to be held in Dubhanbe, Tajikistan from April 26 to May 1.

As per the squad announced by ANFA Technical Director Chiaki Takeda and coach Binod Lama, the team comprises Anjana Rana Magar, Dil Kumari Rana Magar, Durga Khatri, Manisha Giri, Pabitra Rai, Punam Ghimire, Purnima Ghising, Rajani Thokar, Rajju Khadka, Roshani Khatri, Sabina Chaudhary, Sajani Thokar, Saloni Rana Magar, Sarita Neupane, Shrisha Karki, Sumitra Singh Pakhrin, Sunu Jimba, and Udaya Thapa.Binod Lama is the head coach, while Ashmita Khawas is the goalkeeping coach.

Nepal, which is in Group B along with India and Bangladesh, will play its opener against Bangladesh on April 27 and meet India on April 30.

The Group A comprises host Tajikistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Bhutan.
