Gyanu Baba defeated Nepal Police 25-21, 25-16, 25-19 on Friday. Meanwhile, Fishtail won two matches and lost one on Friday. Fishtail ousted Deep Jyoti 25-7, 25-14, 25-12 and Angel Heart 25-10, 25-14, 25-4 while they faced a 25-18, 21-25, 26-18, 25-22 against from Nepal Police.
Saturday´s match between Gyanu Baba and Fishtail will decide which team will win the title of the tournament.
Nepal Police are in third position with eight victories from 11 matches. Likewise, Angel Heart defeated PLA 25-17, 21-25, 25-9, 25-17. Angel Heart have collected 17 points while PLA and New Diamond both are trailing behind with 13 points each. Deep Jyoti have collected 10 points in the tournament that will conclude on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Triton, Geeta Mata and Kantipur Engineering College (KEC) emerged victorious on Friday in the ongoing Akhil Cup Inter-college Football Tournament being held in Chyasal ground.
Triton edged past Canvas 2-1. Dharmendra Chaudhary and Roshan Chaudhary scored one each for the winning side in the 6th and 40th minutes respectively. Binod Ghale pulled one back for Canvas in the 34th minute.
Pasang Lama scored a hat-trick as Geeta Mata registered a comprehensive 7-0 win over Kantipur Medical Science College. Pasang scored in the 29th, 44th and 54th minutes and Rocky Lama also added a brace scoring in the 12th and 67th minutes. Ramesh Podar and Jiten KC netted the other goals in the 19th and 65th minutes.
Meanwhile, KEC registered a 2-0 win over Nobel Academy. Sanjeev Sthapit and Nirajan Thapa scored apiece for KEC.
